Tomato Triangle

Prerequisites:
Pythagorean Theorem, Familiarity with finding the area of a triangle

Brief Description:
Using a geometric sketch and a data table, students help determine the set-up of a triangular-shaped garden that will use the least amount of fence. Students also find the area of each garden.
